While he's not actually threatened to do anything if you don't give, the clear implication is that not giving could/would result in some dire consequence. Can he do that, lawfully? The errors are made, not on money calculations, but on mistakes such as a missing signature on a credit card slip, not getting a lawn slip signed even if customer doesnt want a sign, and not getting a floor plan "buddy" checked.
